Let the broken hearted speak

Let the broken hearted speak their mind
For yours is the incense of this time
Praise the shadows, Praise the sun
Choose the harrowing winding path

Never easy, never shy
Never one to wonder why
Caught in a web of trickling time
Never stopping to play with the sullen sand

Smash the tables, smash the food
Smash the solemn graven mood
For I saw the rapture, covered in bliss
Too close to touch, too far to cry

When I pour off a cliff in your arms
You let me fall, you let me shine
When death seems certain you draw near
And whisper nothing into my ear

How the silence shames!
It pokes and prods my burning heart
Living a dream, never to awake
Perpetual nightmare wakes me inbetween

Afraid of lines and curves to come
The bell never rings, the sun never dies
Once again caught in an array of webs
Spun by the finest of chilling lies

Behold the life of rhetorical rhymes
Life gets up and fashionably flies
Over the moon, over a house
Over to the plush orange speaking tree

Here I am lying in wait
The tick of the clock on comfort to go by
When I get the noise of sirens
I fight the urge to fly on, up into the sky

Grant me peace, my favourite Lord
Allow me peace to rectify reason
Cloudy judgement makes judgement fair
By revealing the coin in your hand

So if this pain should take me now
Turn it into a ball
Throw it at the nearest soul
Who hitched along for a ride

Gates open wide into the forest
Final test of time
Do you dare to run when walkers rule
The omnipresence of my other life

Down to the cellar I retreat
Bandage wounds and find some wine
I will heal but need a change
From the scalding burn of trapped city lies

Breathe me know
Know my name
Shout it from the rafters
If I should fail myself
Grab my wings and let me convalesce

Spread out wide, wings of hope
Spread out wide, wings of truth

Give your injection, just above the ear
Don’t worry about the hurt you will cause
Find me a reason to not love everyone
In a world that is created by whom?

Show your true face, I command
Show your true face, I will find you

Singing dance of long gone by
Drag me with the wind
In my heart you find pain, but
In my head you find the will to life
