Never knew what was a dream
what was a tale, what was a lie
i set my eyes, fixed in trance
upon stone and liquid,
all from the land
my dear baroque images abound
never have you spoken to me
only been the present force
when i commune with a giant
from a far away land
then it came to pass
as all hope for life wasted out of a tired body
that the god i had been seeking
was sculpted by a man
inspirations for a king
apprenticeships for the government
what has transpired this day
will be here forever
true everlasting life in the warm lips
of a lover, true and tried, false and lied
as i recount situations abound
in the heart of one, it remains
never to be found
